POST BELLUM – INSTITUTES OF MEMORY OF THE NATION

For 20 years, Post Bellum has been making a significant contribution to creating our social memory, an important key to understanding who we are today. The project of the Institutes of Memory of the Nation in a number of cities (Prague, Brno, Plzeň, České Budějovice, Český Krumlov, Pardubice, Olomouc, Zlín) will establish places offering an innovative way of becoming familiar with our 20th century history. It will be a living space focused on exhibitions for the public, meetings, education and documentation of contemporaries’ stories. We believe that, especially for the younger generation, confrontation with Czech modern history is essential.
