Člověk v tísni (People in Need)

A non-governmental non-profit organisation based on the principles of humanism, freedom, equality and solidarity, seeking an open, informed, engaged and responsible society not only abroad, but also in the Czech Republic. This is where the People in Need activities have increased significantly in recent years, especially in connection with the urgent need to address the issue of extreme debt within Czech society and subsequent executions, which often also affect children. People in Need primarily provides assistance in excluded locations in the form of debt advice, social fieldwork, expert social advice, etc.

We see the acute need to address the disproportionate debts of citizens in regions neglected by the state as a key to restoring Czech society.
