Sametový most

The Velvet Bridge project of the Art for Amnesty CLG organisation represents a dignified, artistically valuable commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution and a memory of those who had merit in regaining freedom.

It is a large wall painting (250 m2) created from the Portuguese tiles of azulejos according to a design by the illustrator and graphic artist Petr Sís, an internationally recognised Czech artist and holder of prestigious awards (H. Ch. Andersen Prize). The mosaic will be located on the bank of Kampa in Prague.
