Our approach

People matter most. That is why we support the courage of people changing Czechia for the better.
For us, philanthropy is investing in ideas with the potential to improve life for everyone. Civil society provides solutions where business does not operate and where the state moves slowly. Our support helps foster leaders and teams with the capacity to tackle the great challenges facing us.

This is how we maximize impact:
- Proactive Search: We typically identify and approach organizations ourselves based on references and reputation.
- General Operating Support: We commonly provide grants for the organization’s overall operations, not just specific projects.
- Long-term Commitments: We prefer multi-year partnerships, often looking three years ahead.
- Vision in Context: We seek partners with a long-term vision and a deep understanding of the context in which they work.
- Systemic Scope: We primarily collaborate with organizations focused on systemic change—improvements that positively and permanently affect large numbers of people.
- Data and Learning: We expect partners to verify their impact, work with data, and continuously learn.
- Minimal Bureaucracy: We strive to reduce unnecessary paperwork so organizations can focus on the core of their expert work.
- Support Beyond Funding: Where it makes sense, we help beyond the grant—through networking, educational opportunities, and mentoring.
- Transparency: We provide and expect honest, open feedback.
- Collaboration and Scaling: We support cooperation between organizations on specific goals aimed at scaling innovations alongside the state and its institutions.

We are committed to the international principles of Trust-Based Philanthropy. Trust delivers better results than rigid criteria. Challenges evolve and conditions change; goals are only achieved through support that is flexible, reliable, and emphasizes collaboration and the involvement of all key stakeholders.
